Torino Wireless and TOP-IX together for the development of Piemonte

More sinergies in favor of SMEs. A 1.5M euro call for proposals is scheduled

The success of the project is guarantee by the reciprocity of the two partners: Torino Wireless brings the experience acquired in enterprise acceleration and in the development of high added value for Small and Medium Enterprises, the main activity of the Foundation. TOP-IX provids the network infrastructure with nodes in Torino (in 5 different locations), in province capitals of Piemonte and Aosta Valley (Aosta and Pont Saint Martin).

The calls for proposals

The alliance will realize opening calls for porposals that provide for a join funding by the enterprises and that have a duration of about 18 month.

By September 2006 Torino Wireless and TOP-IX engage themselves in the launch of a first call for a total amount of 1,5 millions euro to fund R&D projects in the domain of broadband-based applications and services.
