The purpose of the Work Programme 2006 is to continue these activities and to enhance the ir
effectiveness by:
Extending operation of the hotline and awareness-raising networks to new countries;
Encouraging close co-operation between all stakeholders in Safer Internet activities;
Increasing the visibility of the Safer Internet plus programme for European citizens, both adults and
children, and to help them find relevant information about how they can use the Internet more
safely.
Target
The call for proposals under this Work Programme is open for participation to all legal entities (public and private) established in the Member States.
Allocation
An indicative amount of ? 6.9 million is available for the 2006 call.
