RFID technology and tracking: opportunities for SME

Technical workshop on applications and market trends

This workshop will give an up-to-date scenario on tracking applications that use RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification). Technological and normative aspects will be explained, as well as applications with actual cases presentation.

The event is focused on opportunities, particularly for SME, to develope RFID-based services and applications with high added value. The workshop is addressed to enterpreneurs, IT managers, researchers and consultants which like to keep themselves up-to-date on this technology, and take advantage from its great potential.

The workshop was organized by Torino Wireless Foundation and the Turin Chamber of Commerce as action to support small and medium enterprises. The event is also part of the activities managed by the ALPS Innovation Relay Centre of the Turin Chamber of commerce.
