Internet Law Program Seminar

From intellectual property to issues related to cyberspace regulation

The first European iLaw program will be organized in cooperation with the Berkman Center and will feature an intensive three-day schedule dedicated to the analysis of legal, economic, and technical issues related to the Internet and digital technologies in general. Five world-famous professors from the Harvard Law School, who will be joined by select Italian and European professors, will address topics such as:

  • the future of copyright on the Internet
  • Intellectual property and software protection measures
  • the architecture of the Internet
  • cyberspace regulation: from peer-to-peer to wireless, digital contents and privacy

Who should attend and why

The lectures will be of special interests for professionals belonging to many different areas: entrepreneurs, managers, technologists, lawyers, economists, public administrators, lawyers, politicians, journalists, media scholars, and no-profit operators.

No prior background in the subject of Internet Law is required. English will be the official language.

The event is organized by IV Facoltà di Ingegneria – Politecnico di Torino and Istituto di Elettronica e Ingegneria dell’Informazione e delle Telecomunicazioni – Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche.
