Torino Wireless stimulates collaboration processes between the members of the ICT Hub through the development and strengthening of long networks characterized by supply chain or sector solutions, aimed at specific markets.
The Hub activates the necessary synergies between the various skills and solutions of the companies, to present integrated offers capable of better interpreting market needs, as well as enhancing effective methods in the public-private relationship.

Capetti Elettronica

Capetti Elettronica, since 1973 operates as designer and manufacturer in the electronic industry. 40 people are employed in the 2000m2 factory. The 2014 turnover is 6.8Ml euro. The R&D department designs according to international customers requirements (Agilent Technologies, SKF industries) while the manufacturing assembles and tests. The cycle from the design to the product is internally managed while specific tasks are outsourced to full qualified suppliers. Supply of knowledge comes from research institutes (Politecnico di Torino,ISMB,INRIM) collaborations. Since 2006 develops Wireless products for Energy, Structural/Geotechnical and Museal monitoring.

Abinsula

Established in 2012, Abinsula is one of the main Italian players in the Embedded, Web and Mobile solutions. The main application domain is automotive, a domain in which – thanks to a very high specialization – it has managed to position itself worldwide.

The company’s rapid growth has been supported by the development of ABILITY, a Linux distribution for embedded systems that represents a central semi-finished product in the development of automotive solutions. Thanks to its capacity for innovation and also to the recognized experience of its founders in the development of the Linux operating system, today it is a supplier to the most important Tier 1 and car makers at European and international level, as well as to leading companies in ICT, precision farming, utility and industry 4.0.

The more than 100 employees are distributed among the 3 Business Units (Embedded, IoT, Digital) and the Research & Innovation division. The company operates in Sassari, Cagliari, Turin and Barcelona, and thanks to constant investments aimed at increasing human capital, it combines professionalism and high innovation in its services of analysis, design, development, documentation, installation of products and information, telematic and network systems.

Abinsula also carries out scientific research and experimental development activities in the field of computer and electronic engineering, to be applied to innovative systems for automotive, home automation, medical, and their communication and integration with web systems.
