What is it
An AI solution to recognize the face of a person present in a dataset of known faces. Added to this solution is the ability to recognize whether or not a mask (e.g., surgical mask) is present and worn correctly on a face.

Problem
The need was to recognize the person placed in front of the camera, if known to the system. The period of Covid-19 made it necessary for it to evolve, having to recognize if the person in front of the camera complied with the correct method of wearing the mask.
Solution
The proposed solution is an AI model that is based on a training performed on a dataset of known faces (at least 5 per person). In addition, a second model has been created for mask recognition only.
