SARA-STEP1

The goal of SARA project is to use the road network data and practicability of the main arteries of the region integrating them with those from vehicles equipped with location-based systems through a dedicated web application in real time. In fact, the processing of traffic data obtained from different sources and the travel details in real time generated by moving vehicles can produce in real-time a dynamic “map” of the traffic situation in the regional network. Such information can then be sent to vehicles that are going to be involved in any problems, thus providing possible alternative routes
