Casa Oz

CasaOz was founded in Turin in 2007 and had its first location in the city’s former Olympic Village. In 2010 it opened its own House, in the vicinity of the Regina Margherita Children’s Hospital, to be a true welcoming place for children facing illness and their families.
Working in synergy with the hospital and the local area, CasaOz intervenes to support families experiencing situations of illness and disability, health mobility and hospitalizations at health facilities in Turin.
To respond to these needs, CasaOz’s planning includes day care and overnight hospitality – thanks to the ResidenzeOz project – and offers families support and support in the elaboration of a path back to normality to complement medical-hospital care through the creation of inclusive contexts and paths to autonomy.
