GLASSBRAIN

GLASSBRAIN

Two new technologies, evolving in a very interesting way and reaching the market with great promises and expectations, deserve in particular a phase of study and specific research: the “Optical Head-Mounted Display (OHMD) and” Brain-Machine Interfaces “(BMI ). The intuition behind this feasibility study is that these two technologies can, if properly used together, develop remarkable synergies able to create new and important discontinuities, in terms of design of new interfaces, user experiences, new markets, similar to what happened and highlighted in the cases just mentioned. The study phase will be able to combine and complement each both a preliminary activity ‘hands-on’ to use the prototypes currently available (typically Android-based) or those that will be available by the starting date of the study, to understand concretely features, capabilities, limitations and possible improvements to, both the other (an exploratory activities to new concepts, application scenarios, services and interactive mode
