The aim is designing a prototype of “hubs” of knowledge that, from existing content, quite heterogeneous in terms of conditions of access, usability and reuse, may provide an integrated and flexible platform of huge value, both functional development in the area of academic research and productive innovation for SMEs. The originality lies in an attempt to respond to a need widespread in the Italian university world by creating a flexible, modular proposal combining with existing elements and elements created from scratch according to the specifications resulting from the individual studies of the sector (technological, editorial, economic and legal), through the design of an IT infrastructure that now is not existing in Italy.
