Una piattaforma di ingegneria avanzata a disposizione delle imprese

LEXIS è una piattaforma di ingegneria avanzata in cui convergono HPC e Big Data e servizi Cloud a disposizione delle aziende per validare e dimostrare i risultati prima di renderli completamente operativi, o affinare le architetture software ancora in fase di sviluppo.

Si basa sulle migliori soluzioni di gestione dei dati (EUDAT) e soluzioni avanzate di orchestrazione distribuite (TOSCA), potenziandole con nuove funzionalità hardware efficienti sotto forma di Data Nodes e monitoraggio.

È una piattaforma di testing che, grazie alla partecipazione delle aziende, testa a sua volta le sue potenzialità per essere completamente operativa e basata sulle necessità degli utenti.

L’incontro illustrerà la call per le imprese che intendono candidarsi a testare le potenzialità della piattaforma, in compagnia di Links Foundation e Teseo Spa.

Gli speaker

Olivier Terzo
PhD in Electronic Engineering and Communications, MSc Degree in Computer Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino (Italy). University degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and Industrial Informatics from University Institute of Nancy (France).
He is currently the Head of the ACA Advance Computing and Applications Research Area with a staff of 16 Reseaerchers at the LINKS Foundation Research Center (Italy).
He is actually Coordinator of ACROSS project,  co-design and dissemination manager of the LEXIS project ICT11-2018 Innovation Action on HPC and Big Data enabled Large-scale Test-beds and Applications, he is also the technical and Scientific coordinator of the Plastic & Rubber Regional project focused on Industries 4.0 topic.
Active member of the HiPEAC community with the co-organization of the HelpDC workshop (Heterogeneous and Low Power Data Center Technologies) on HiPEAC. Workshop organizer on conferences, Associate Editor member of the International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing (IJGUC). IPC member of the International Workshop on Scalable Optimization In Intelligent Networking and peer reviewer in ICNS and CISIS conferences.

Florin Apopei
Florin has a Master in Business Administration from Università di Torino and joined Teseo as Management Accounting and Business planning reporting directly to the CEO.
He is Responsible from the financial and business planning side of the company’s R&D projects, actually is managing several R&D project in the H2020 framework and European Space Agency domain.
Prior to join Teseo , Florin had an experience in PwC Advisory.
