GSMA Mobile World Congress 2009

For Piedmont Companies a Think Up branded booth and a brokerage event by the Chamber of commerce of Torino

THINK UP @ GSMA 2009

Think Up will present the excellent ICT companies from Torino and Piemonte region at GSMA,

The Think Up project participation is promoted by Torino Chamber of Commerce with the aegis of Regione Piemonte and is managed by Piemonte Agency for Investments, Export and Tourism , in cooperation with Torino Wireless Foundation and CSI-Piemonte .

The Think Up space, an 18 sqm stand, will be located in Pavillion 2.1, booth D68

10 companies participating to the Think Up project will have the opportunity to take part in the event, to present their innovative products and solutions throught the Think Up stand, to identify potential customers, partners and suppliers, and to analyze the competitors’ offer.

BROKERAGE EVENT @ GSMA 2009

The purpose of the brokerage event is to enhance opportunities for companies to explore and find mobile technology cooperation. A large diversion of prospects is available as all sort of collaboration sought is offered; (Research & Development, Technical Co-operation, Joint Venture Agreement, Manufacturing Agreement, Licence Agreement, Commercial Agreement, FP7-ICT Project). In order to achieve this goal, we collect descriptions of technologies obtained or sought by innovative companies in the mobile industry sector, we check that the information is relevant and clearly explained, and we compile them into an on-line catalogue for participants to browse through.

In 2008, over350 companies from21 countries (Canada, Cyprus, England, Estonia,Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine,United States) submitted more than 450 profiles describing technologies they were offering or seeking. Over the 4 days of the brokerage event, approximately850 meetings took place.

TheMobile Brokerage Event 2009 is the ideal environment for:

small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), offering and / or looking for new technologies
scientists / research institutes offering innovative RTD results
start-up companies and entrepreneurs
operatorstomeet with innovators and value-added service providers

The forum will bring together suppliers and users of mobile technology and know-how from all over Europe (and some other countries like Canada, Israel…) to discuss solutions and new opportunities for the future.

Fee
The MOBILE BROKERAGE EVENT 2008 is free of charge.

A free visitor ticket for the main fair, allowing visiting all the stands, will be given to each participant company (saving aprox. 600 Euros)

*Please note that only actively involved participants who arrange and attend the meetings will receive the free pass.
