Iccom was founded in 2007 by a group of former Polytechnic University of Turin engineers as a company specialized in the research, installation and management of telecommunication systems based on optical fibre and wireless. Iccom developed a portfolio of telecommunication and security services mainly dedicated to B2B clients. Iccom owns and manages a geographical network infrastructure directly interconnected to its datacenter in Northern Italy and is able to provide an end-to-end quality control. It has been the first provider to fully implement IPV6 in its italian network.
ICCOM is active throughout the national territory, in collaboration with the best B2B carriers and through proprietary optical fibre and wireless, particularly extended in Asti, Albese and Val di Susa, with more than 100 independent access points.
In many areas of presence the network, inaugurated in 2007 and continuously expanded and updated, is the only one to provide quality service in areas plagued by digital divide.
